Mr. Pintauro is the chair of LBC&Cís Design Professional Practice Group.

He has been representing design professionals exclusively for more than 30 years. He has had extensive experience in architectís and engineerís professional liability, as well as municipal law. His broad-based experience in these areas range from negotiating contracts, litigating complex multi-party construction claims, including personal injury actions and delay claims, as well as arbitrating and mediating construction related disputes.

Mr. Pintauro received his Juris Doctorate from the John Marshall Law School in 1980, was a member of the John Marshall Law School Law Review, and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Fordham University in 1977.

He is admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of New York, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He has been designated a Super Lawyer.

He has also lectured extensively on a variety of issues relating to architects and engineers professional and contractual liability, including: Green Design: What Architects Need to Know to Survive and Profit, January 2008; How to Survive a Malpractice Claim: What Architects and Engineers Should Know, 1999, 2000 and 2001; Risk Management and Loss Prevention, 2000; Strategies for Surviving Malpractice Claims in the Coming Century, 1998; and Competing Interests and Legal Considerations in Addressing Professional Liability/General Liability Co-Insurer Issues, 1996.

Mr. Pintauro is counsel to and consulted by many design professional societies and organizations and he is a member of the American Bar Association, American Association for Justice, American Council of Engineering Companies, and an AIA/CES National Provider.
